On June 13, 2026, the local chapter of The Order of Saint Ignatius at St. Elias Cathedral in Ottawa hosted a townhall meeting. The guest speakers were the North American Chairperson of The Order, Dr. Ramzi Khairallah, and the Vice Chair, Mr. Eric Zakaib. They received a warm welcome from the Diocesan Chair, Mr. Dimitri Zeidan, and from Father Nektarios, who stressed in his address the importance of The Order in supporting all the needs of young adult camps and other important ministries of the Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese of North America.

Dr. Khairallah focused on the importance of communication and building local chapters to participate in church life and support other church ministries at the local level. Mr. Zakaib discussed the importance of being part of the work of the Archdiocese, and how that, in turn, benefits everyone at the local level.
On Sunday, June 14, Dr. Khairallah addressed the whole congregation in church after Liturgy, reiterating the impact of the work of The Order on the recipients of support but especially on the members who sacrifice through action to strengthen their faith. He also expressed his joy at seeing a great number of children in church, which is one of the biggest missions of The Order of St. Ignatius of Antioch.
